On March 22th took place the Teacher Day. This Sunday, our staff met together to make the assessment of the year, sharing a good lunch in the garden.
All the teachers and employees communicated their ambitions and their desires for 2015. In 2014, the Sita’s family has grown a lot: we welcomed fresh ideas and faced new needs. Obviously, it was the occasion for people to meet together and learn more about all the disciplines we offer you at Sita. Moreover, we talked about new events we want to share with our guests, in order to make our activities more visible.
Everybody brought one of their specialties! Almost all of our teachers cooked themselves for our pleasure! And guess what? It was delicious!
We enjoyed traditional Indian food such as Pooli sadam (tamarind rice) and kichari (semolina with vegetables) with gravies to lick your lips for such as meen kozhambu (fish curry) or kozhi kurma (chicken curry). Some of our teachers are really good cook and have a sweet tooth, so we were treated with olaiappam (sweet idlis) and paal kozhukottai (rice flour balls in sweet milk).
The buffet is not over yet! Some other teachers as well as our interns took the opportunity to prepare yummy Western dishes; such as traditional Crepes from Brittany or beef steak and chicken terrine. We enjoyed as well great momos from Tibet and more original dishes like chapatti vegan rolls and Vegan mushrooms terrine.
The meal took place in Sita’s garden: for this occasion, we bought and planted flowers to make it colorful and joyful!
It was such a good moment shared together. We all have the desire to make our centre better and better! We gave the possibility to the staff to express himself. Our staff seem to be satisfied by the professional environment we offer, happy to work and stress less. Creativity and innovation are the motor of Sita. It makes our staff and our guests enthusiastic!
Our teachers made their suggestions: to buy a mirror to make the dance classes easier, to create a uniform for our permanent employees… What do you think about it?
